Reply All is a bi-weekly podcast. We report true, surprising stories about the internet. You can listen to our archives here. We need an intern. That person could be you! Here’s what we’re looking for: a hard worker who is excited to learn, and eager to dive into the storymaking process. We want to train you to do what we do! We’ll get you involved in as many areas of our production process as we can, and you’ll be an essential part of our team as we puzzle through new stories and try to make them better. You should enjoy collaborating. If you have experience with podcasting, digital audio editing, or radio journalism, that’s great too! What You’ll Do

  • Cutting a LOT of tape 
  • Upload countless files
  • Email total strangers 
  • Pitch stories
  • Participate in group edits
  • Book guests
  • Dig up facts
  • Transcribe once in a while
  • Help us make the best stories we can

What You Have

  • Some familiarity with audio editing software. If you know protools, great! If not, we’ll teach you. 
  • A love of collaboration
  • An ability to manage multiple projects
  • A determination to find the fact, book the guest, or get the answer
  • A desire to tell make great stories

This is a paid, full-time internship based in our Brooklyn, NY offices. Our staff is currently working remotely, but we hope to be back in the office later this year. Unfortunately, if you're a college student, this internship is not eligible for college credit, and we're unable to adjust the length of our internships to fit your particular college's semester. All candidates must be able to commit to our standard work hours, which are Monday-Friday from 10am-6pm. We will be considering applications for Fall (Sept- Jan) and Spring (Jan- May) interns.   1. Tell us about a specific moment that you liked in a podcast episode you recently listened to.
  2. Pitch us one story about the internet. Tell us the story the way you’d tell it to a friend. Tell us who you would want to interview for the story, and tell us why it’s interesting to you.
  3. What’s something you watched, read, or heard recently that could have/should have been amazing, that came so close, but for one big problem? Tell us the problem and how you’d fix it.
  4. Which internship you would like to be considered for (Fall 2021 or Spring 2022)? Or would you like to be considered for both?
